Bio:
Rebecca Cavagnari is a high-tech marketing executive and company advisor focusing on product marketing, product management, social media, PR and collaboration. She blogs about her experience and thoughts on Marketing and Social Media, as well as travel, photography, volunteering, and marathoning.
Most recently she was at a small web collaboration startup, Convenos, as VP of Marketing and Corporate Development, focusing on taking web collaboration and interactive project management to the next level. She was instrumental in creating strong relationships with Skype, Salesforce.com, eBay, Yahoo and others. She is also a contributing inventor to two patents in the collaboration space.
Prior to starting Convenos Rebecca held marketing executive positions at Agitar, Puma Technology (aka Intellisync, acquired by Nokia), and Borland (aka Inprise). She holds an MBA in International Marketing and Finance, from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She has been an adjunct professor and advisor for MIIS, USSC, and SJSU. Throughout her career she has been focused on International Relations and has live abroad in Turkey, China and Taiwan as well as traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America.
She is an avid skier, traveler, photographer, runner, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her son near their home in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
